Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the IH curriculum and meet the needs of individual learners.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to enhance student learning and promote language acquisition.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and student engagement.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to teachers to track their development. Set and monitor the teachers' development plans.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and lead or participate in professional development activities offered by the school.
- Develop school curriculums and lesson outlines for IH Bangkok existing courses and new.
- Keep the teaching team motivated and interact positively with all school departments.
Requirements:
- C2 level English
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- A minimum CELTA TEFL qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- A Cambridge Delta and or a Masters in TEFL/Applied Linguistics with a practical teaching component.
- A YLs teaching qualification
- Experience in developing and training teachers
- Experience of working and teaching in a multicultural international setting.
- Experience of setting up courses and writing lesson outlines.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching different age groups and levels, including young learners, teenagers, and adults.
- Experience in working on and running YL summer camps.
- Experience in working on and running IELTS and pre-sessional courses and other Academic English courses with successful outcomes in terms of grades.
- Experience in putting together Corporate English courses.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to thrive in a diverse and multicultural work environment.

Other Benefits
Bonus: End of contract bonus
Holiday: There is a total of 5 weeks' paid holiday per year.
Accommodation: We help teachers find accommodation and help negotiate a good deal as required.
Visa: The school will send the MOE application letter to the employee to apply for an initial 3 month non-immigrant B visa once all teacher paperwork is received and once the teacher has that the school will extend and pay for that visa to be valid for a year and also process and pay for the work permit.
