Requirements You must have a CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent initial teaching qualificationYou must have a degree (e.g. BA, BSc)The successful candidate will be required to meet the necessary visa and work permit requirements for employment in Estonia.

A minimum of 2 years post-certificate (e.g. CELTA and or Trinity cert TESOL) experience required. Full mastery of English across all 4 skills to CEFR C2/IELTS band 9 required.

Job Description We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate teachers to join our dedicated team at IH Tallinn. Successful candidates should be comfortable and willing to teach across different age groups as well as willing to teach both online and face-to-face.

Working Hours: 18 hours (1 hour = 45 mins) of teaching per week (the number of hours may increase depending on availability). Fewer hours per week is also possible (negotiable). Timetables differ, but the majority of classes are taught on site. Lessons take place Monday to Friday; weekends are free. Every effort is made to reduce split shifts. All timetables include a mix of ages and levels. IH Tallinn offers General English classes, preparation for FCE, CAE, CPE and IELTS, individual classes and business courses. The majority of classes are hybrid classes (a combination of online and face-to-face classes). There is a well-stocked teachers’ room & resource library at the school and multimedia facilities in every classroom. IH Tallinn offers supportive & cooperative working environment and opportunities to teach a range of different age groups and course types.

About the School

IH Tallinn was set up in 1993. Since 2000 Katrin Langa has been the school director. Her claim to fame is that she is (so far) the only she is the only Estonian to have the Cambridge DELTA. Katrin has also taught English in Cairo, Krakow and Vilnius – so she brings a wealth of international exerience to the school.

The team of teachers includes English and Americans, as well as local members of staff.

The school offers English courses for adults and young learners and also preparation courses for different international English exams.
