About the role

Demo IH Roma is hiring an experienced EFL teacher to join our adults and

teens department for the Autumn 2026 intake (start date: 1 September 2026).

You will deliver 24 contact hours per week across General English, Business

English and IELTS preparation, in a mix of in-school groups and 1-to-1

online sessions.

– A 12-month renewable full-time contract under Italian CCNL.

– Monthly gross salary of €1,800 – €2,400, depending on qualifications.

– Paid orientation week, ongoing CPD sessions and one fully-funded place

on an IH methodology course every year.

– Health insurance contribution and 4 weeks paid leave.

– Relocation support (help finding accommodation, residence permit).

Who you are

———–

– CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent (Pass B or above strongly preferred).

– Minimum 2 years post-qualification EFL teaching experience with mixed

ability adult and teenage learners.

– Native-level English (C2). Working Italian (A2+) is a plus but not required.

– Strong digital skills — comfortable with Zoom, Google Classroom and a LMS.

– EU passport OR an existing right to work in Italy (we cannot sponsor work

visas for this role).

– Experience with exam preparation (Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced, IELTS).
