International House Oxford Group Lecce is currently recruiting two professional English language teachers to join our growing academic team from September 2026.
Located in the stunning Baroque city of Lecce in the heart of Salento, Puglia, our school offers a dynamic and supportive international teaching environment where teachers are encouraged to grow professionally while making a genuine difference in students’ lives.
We are a well-established language school and international Montessori educational institution delivering high-quality English language instruction and bilingual education to a wide range of learners, including:
- Very Young Learners (VYL)
- Primary and middle school pupils
- Teenagers

In addition to our in-school programmes, we also provide:
- Cambridge English examination preparation courses
- Off-site corporate training
- PON/PNRR projects in Italian schools
- Online and blended learning courses
- Cambridge International Curriculum teaching
- Our students study various subjects in both Italian and English, alongside Spanish as a second language, creating a truly multilingual educational environment.
The Role
The successful candidates will join a collaborative and motivated teaching team and will be expected to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons across a variety of age groups and levels.
Teachers are assigned an average of 25 teaching hours per week, generally from Monday to Friday, although some schedules may run Tuesday to Saturday depending on course requirements.
Teaching duties may include:
- General English courses
- Cambridge English exam preparation
- English for Young Learners and Teens
- English for Academic Purposes
- Business English
- Cambridge International Curriculum subjects
- Off-site lessons in companies and state schools
- Online teaching sessions
- PON/PNRR funded educational projects
Depending on experience and qualifications, teachers may also teach ICT, Maths or Science to EAL learners in primary and middle school.
Teachers are expected to:
- Plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to student needs
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain high professional and academic standards
- Participate in meetings, workshops and professional development activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and academic coordinators
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, students and staff where appropriate
