Job Description
Athena Docet IH Pescara works with a wide range of students including very young learners, young learners, teens, adults, state schools, businesses and 1-2-1s. The majority of our work is aimed at preparing the Cambridge suite of exams for YLs and also the main suite. Knowledge of Cambridge exams is imperative. We are looking for teachers who have experience in a range of teaching environments who enjoy working in a with a wide range of students. The school provides all necessary teaching material to the teachers who are required to use it and prepare the lessons at school. Apart from textbooks for the different levels we also have a large quantity of supplementary materials, including a good selection of books and audio materials for optional activities to help with skills acquisition and grammar and vocabulary knowledge and also methodology books. Our school is open from 09.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 9-13 on Saturdays. Group courses last approx. 8 months, starting in October and finishing at the end of May/beginning of June, while individual lessons can start at any time during the year. Teachers are required to work from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning with, at least, one free morning or afternoon during the week.
