Aim of the Game

To make complete and correct sentences.

Procedure

Each S gets 5 cards.

SS take turns to put down one card at a time IF they have a card that combines well with what’s on the table. E.g. S1 puts down “mother”; S2 puts down “lives”

If SS don’t have a card that combines well with what’s already on the table, they say “pass.” E.g. S1 puts down “mother”; S2 puts down “lives”; S3 says “pass”; S4 puts down “in”

SS who manage to put down a card have to draw another from the pack. SS who “pass” don’t get new cards.

Variations

T can organize this as a card contest between two groups (use 1 set of cards per group): the group that has a winner first is the winning group.

SS can their own cards using the blank template for another game
