Job Description
Be a part of Apollo English to ignite the love of learning, and deliver high quality teaching programs! We are looking for potential candidates with a strong passion for education and expertise in teaching to join Apollo English as a Learning Experience Manager (LXM).
The LXM will lead the team of experienced teachers at the Center to carry out and improve the teaching programs for young learners. This position will also work closely with the Center Manager toward the strategic goals of both the Center and the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality and efficient programs at the center
Taking responsibility for the Learning Experience aspects of Student Renewal
Working with colleagues and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the scheduling function is carried out effectively at the centres.
Overseeing the use of the Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure that communication by teachers to parents is timely and sufficient.
Dealing effectively with any academic issues or feedback from customers or internal staff.
Ensure clear, and timely communication with all teams within the centres
Keep on top of communication with the Senior Learning Experience Manager (SLXM) by official channels (Apollo email or Slack), and ensure all important information is communicated with the wider team concerned in a timely manner.
Helping ensure that all teachers at the centres are able to consistently deliver the high learning experience standards demanded by Apollo and are part of a committed and developing team.
Requirements:
A relevant bachelor’s degree
Professional credentials in education (Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL, DELTA, DipTESOL, or MA TESOL)
A minimum of 3 years of academic experience
Experience in training and mentoring
Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills
Flexibility and cultural awareness
Demonstrates a growth mindset
