- Job Title: Polish Language Teacher to Adults

International House London is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Polish teachers to join our growing Foreign Languages team. The role primarily involves teaching adults on our evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Polish language lessons to adult learners.
- Create engaging and effective lesson materials and activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Essential:
- Proficient Polish speaker
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Initial teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in the UK.
Desirable:
- Possess a CLTA, CELTA, Trinity TESOL or DELTA
- QTS
- Hold a degree in Polish Language and Literature or a degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish, German, French, etc.).
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position. Most lessons are the evening from 18.30 -20.30, once a week. We also have some classes in the afternoons, Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.
