IH Valladolid has two centres in the city teaching both adults and children a range of different courses and languages. They teach English, Spanish, French and German at the school and the formats include Business, exam courses and general language.
The school has an excellent reputation in the local area and the classrooms are well-equipped. Teachers may be teaching in one of the two schools or in external schools around the city.
Valladolid is a city located 200 KM North of Madrid and 150 KM south of Santander. Valladolid was briefly the capital of Spain and is the capital of the Castille and Leon region of Spain. Valladolid has all the things you would expect to find in a medium sized Spanish city. From an old town quarter with a historic university, Romanesque churches and plazas, a large cathedral to nightclubs and bars all around due to the high student population. Food is a particular highlight of Valladolid with delicious suckling lamb, suckling pork a range of seafood and a wide variety of tapas available. Valladolid is one of the best if not the best place in Spain to learn Spanish. People speak slowly with a crystal clear accent due to Valladolid and nearby smaller Salamanca being the origin and home of Castellano. The cost of living is generally much less than in the tourist hubs like San Sebastian and Malaga. Madrid can be reached in 1 hour by high speed train and some of Europe´s finniest beaches are about a 2 and half hours’ drive away in the north. Barcelona is a short flight from Valladolid´s local airport.
