IH Seville

Seville, Spain

Our story began in Seville in 1983. Our first school started small, but we soon grew as did our reputation for top-quality teaching, fantastic teacher training and excellent, authentic accommodation for visiting students. Our name, CLIC IH Seville comes from "Centro de Lenguas and Intercambio Cultural", because we teach Spanish, French, English, German and Chinese - and because we are passionate about real and meaningful cultural exchanges.

Over the years we have taught over 1,000,000 students - either to become languages teachers and start their TEFL career, or to learn a language and start their own amazing life journeys.

Life in and around Seville

If you… are into culture, architecture, taking historical strolls. If you… are a flamenco music and dance fan. If you… like a slow pace to life and enjoy walking or cycling to get where you want to go. If you… like the idea of working with local students and with many different nationalities. If your… Spanish fantasy includes tasty tapas, colourful buildings, hidden squares and orange trees.

The school offers a cultural programme every week. This programme consists of excursions, sightseeing tours, films, cookery classes and so on. You can find the exact dates and times of these different activities on the notice board in the foyer of the school.

Studying at IH Seville

There are many ways to get to and around Seville. The city has its own airport (aeropuerto San Pablo), as well as a large train station (Estación de Santa Justa) and bus lines (Estación Prado de San Sebastián or Estación Plaza de Armas).

Seville has also a tram service in the city centre, metro system and an extensive bus network and bicycle and electronic scooter hire. But everything you need is in walking distance if you prefer that!

The school cafeteria, situated in the main patio of the school. offers breakfast and lunch, sandwiches, beverages, fresh fruit and salads and many other delicious homemade snacks and meals. There is also a El Corte Inglés supermarket just across the road.

If you want to know how much it costs to stay here, a kilo of oranges will cost about €2 per kilo, a Big Mac €5, and a bottle of beer in a local bar €4. But we hope that you will try and enjoy all out lovely Spanish cuisine!
