IH Dublin

Dublin, Ireland

Our story began in a small school in 1998, when we became the first International House school in Ireland. It began with a handful of students and teachers and a small team dedicated to helping students make the most of their experience here.

Today, International House Dublin is a globally recognised, leading provider of English Language Education in Ireland, part of an Education Group offering third-level undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as professional courses.

Our school is located in an impressive and modern, purpose-built campus. Our school building boasts 5 floors and 42 classrooms. State-of-the-art facilities, located in the heart of Dublin and offering stunning views of the city, and students of all ages and backgrounds.

The school is recognised by ACELS, a service of Quality and Qualifications Ireland, proud member of EAQUALS, and an affiliate member of International House World Organisation, one of the largest language teaching organisations in the world. We are also a Cambridge centre and offering exams and CELTA teacher training courses.

At International House Dublin, it is our priority to deliver a language learning experience of the highest possible quality.

Students who choose to study with us, at International House Dublin, enjoy a top-quality and effective learning experience, in a friendly and supportive environment.

Life in and around Dublin

Life in Dublin offers all the perks of city living but it manages to maintain an easy-going vibe. Dublin is relatively small, low rise and is home to just under 1.5 million people. As a result, the city is easy to navigate and many of its residents get from A to B by foot or bike.

The mountains and coast surrounding Dublin also offer a quick escape into nature. Many hiking routes and swimming spots are accessible by public transport and provide locals with a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

While Ireland is famous for its rainfall, Dublin’s position on the country’s east coast means it’s sunnier than other parts of the country. The weather is usually mild whatever the season. So a little bit of rain doesn’t stop Dubliners from getting out and about. Whether you enjoy urban living or scenic walks, the Dublin lifestyle offers the best of both worlds.
